Fire Service Join Us

Attleborough needs you to join their team of Retained Firefighters in serving your community and making a difference!

Retained Firefighters are men and women who live and/or work in the local community. Working as part of a team they respond to emergencies when they are alerted by their pager. This means that they can continue in their normal everyday employment or even be a housewife/husband and a firefighter at the same time!

Out of the 41 fire stations in Norfolk 35 are solely crewed by Retained firefighters providing an emergency service 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year. Retained firefighters are professionals who are the front line of the fire service.
